JOSEPHINE “JUNE” LILLIAN NORMAN
JANUARY 23, 1930 – APRIL 20, 2022
Josephine “June” Lillian Norman age 92 of Harrison passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Woodland Hospice House, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Josephine was born January 23, 1930 in West Branch Twp., Michigan the daughter of Hugh and Anna (Kwilinski) Kippin. June graduated from Lake City High School in 1948. June was united in marriage to Mr. Vernon “Vern” L. Norman on July 29, 1950 in Missaukee County, Michigan.
Mrs. Norman had made Harrison her home since 1965, moving from Moddersville, Michigan. She enjoyed sewing, making her children’s clothing, gardening, canning, camping and traveling throughout Michigan with her husband and children, watching televised NASCAR races and reading.
Surviving Mrs. Norman is her loving husband and best friend, Mr. Vernon “Vern” L. Norman of Harrison, their six children: Ricky Norman of Harrison, Cathy Labadie of Harrison, Connie Blatt and husband Roger of Harrison, Daniel “Boone” Norman also of Harrison, Cora Martin and husband Ron of Gaylord, Michigan and Russ Norman and wife Kelly of Midland, Michigan, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family members. June was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Tony Norman, one great-granddaughter, Maddie Rice, one son in law, Mr. Rod Labadie, one sister, Beatrice Becker and two brothers: Buddy Kippin and Tim Kippin.
Funeral services for Mrs. Norman will be held Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Pastor Connie Bongard officiating. Visitation will take place Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Graveside services will be in West Cemetery, Moddersville.
